Come celebrate Fall with a dual workshop dedicated to the Autumn harvest season! Erica Lubetsky (www.ericalubetsky.com) will be teaching us how to dye farmer's market tote bags with folding and resist techniques, using all-natural vegetable dyes from red and yellow onion skins (provided by Tapster!) and will enlighten us about sustainability in design along the way.
While your tote bags are soaking up the dye, I'll lead a watercolor workshop featuring Fall produce from the farmer's market as the star. We'll go over some watercolor techniques and basics then settle in to paint a still life that you'll want to frame for your kitchen walls.
WHEN: 1pm - 3pm, Saturday, October 14th
2027 W North Ave
Chicago, IL 60622
** All dyeing and painting materials are included and you'll be provided with a pre-paid drink card to pour some seasonal beers, included in the ticket price! **
